Return on ad spend tells you how much revenue each dollar of media produced. Profit tells you whether you should keep spending it. This calculator reports both side by side, then runs your exact economics through Google, Meta and TikTok benchmarks so you can see where the same budget earns the most.

Meta sells impressions. Cheap CPMs but interruption traffic, so CTR sits near 1% and creative quality drives most of the variance.
Budget buys impressions, so click-through rate decides how many clicks you get.

Profit as a share of spend
Your spend, AOV, margin and conversion rate held constant — only the platform benchmarks change. Cheap impressions do not automatically mean cheap customers.
| Platform | Clicks | CPA | ROAS | Profit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google Ads (Search) | 1,852 | $128.57 | 0.93x | -$2,900.00 |
| Meta (Facebook & Instagram)this page | 5,455 | $43.65 | 2.75x | $1,185.45 |
| TikTok Ads | 6,429 | $37.04 | 3.24x | $2,290.00 |
Conversion rate is held at your figure for all three, which flatters social. In practice cold social traffic converts below search, so treat these as an upper bound for Meta and TikTok.
Projections only. Real campaigns vary with auction pressure, seasonality, creative fatigue, returns and refunds. Platform starting values are rough public benchmarks, not guarantees — replace them with your own reporting.
ROAS = revenue ÷ ad spend. It is a speed gauge for media efficiency and the number every ad platform optimises toward. Profit = revenue × gross margin − ad spend. It is the number your bank balance responds to. A campaign can look excellent on the first and lose money on the second, which is why the results above show them next to each other.
The bridge between them is your gross margin. Divide 1 by your margin and you get break-even ROAS: anything above it is profitable, anything below it is a loss no matter how good the multiple looks. At a 40% margin that line sits at 2.5x; at 25% it moves to 4x.
The platform table holds your spend, order value, margin and conversion rate constant and swaps only the delivery benchmarks. It is a planning aid, not a promise — replace the defaults with your own account CPM, CTR and conversion rate as soon as you have them, because the gap between benchmark and reality is usually larger than the gap between platforms.
Once you know your number, you need a way to pay for it. Kripicard issues virtual Visa cards you top up with USDT — built for advertisers, agencies and dropshippers who want control over every campaign budget without a traditional bank card.
Top up a virtual Visa with crypto and add it to Google, Meta or TikTok — no bank account or credit check needed.
Issue a separate card for each campaign or client so budgets and reconciliation stay clean.
Pre-load exactly your budget and the platform can never charge beyond the balance you set.
Spin up a new card instantly when you launch a new offer, with no waiting on a bank.
Divide revenue attributed to ads by the ad spend that produced it. $12,000 of revenue from $4,000 of spend is a 3x ROAS. Use the same attribution window on both sides, otherwise the ratio drifts with your reporting settings rather than your performance.
One above your break-even ROAS, which is 1 ÷ gross margin. There is no universal good number: 2x is profitable at a 60% margin and a loss at 30%. Compare your ROAS to your own break-even line, not to an industry average.
Profit = revenue × gross margin − ad spend. Include shipping, payment fees and expected refunds in the margin figure. Revenue minus spend is not profit — it ignores everything the product cost you.
It depends on your funnel. Search usually converts better because the buyer is already looking; Meta and TikTok usually have cheaper reach and colder traffic. The comparison table above uses your order value and margin so the answer reflects your business rather than a generic ranking.
No. ROAS uses revenue; ROI uses profit. A 2x ROAS at a 50% margin is a 0% ROI. Report ROAS to tune campaigns, and ROI or profit to decide budgets.
Create a Kripicard virtual Visa card, top it up with USDT, and add it as the payment method on Google, Meta or TikTok. There is no bank account or credit check, cards are issued in about 60 seconds, and you can run a separate card per campaign or client so budgets and reconciliation stay clean.
