Third-Party Banking Partners & Frozen Funds
Kripicard is a technology platform that facilitates the issuance of virtual cards and the conversion of digital assets into spendable card balances. Kripicard is not a bank, is not a licensed money transmitter in every jurisdiction, and does not itself hold customer fiat deposits. All card issuance, card processing, settlement, custody of fiat balances, and movement of funds are performed by independent, regulated third-party partners, including but not limited to issuing banks, Visa and Mastercard card networks, acquirers, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) providers, payment processors, and custodians (collectively, the "Banking Partners").
You acknowledge and agree that Banking Partners operate under their own terms, compliance programs, regulatory obligations, and risk policies, which are outside of Kripicard's control. In the course of their legal, regulatory, AML/CFT, sanctions-screening, fraud-prevention, or risk-management procedures, a Banking Partner may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice:
Freeze, hold, restrict, suspend, block, or delay access to funds or card balances
Reverse, decline, or cancel transactions
Close or suspend cards or accounts
Confiscate, seize, remit to authorities, or retain funds pursuant to legal or regulatory orders
Request additional KYC / source-of-funds documentation before releasing balances
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kripicard and Uweb3 Management BR shall not be liable, and shall not be required to issue any refund, reimbursement, credit, or compensation, for any loss, damage, delay, unavailability, or diminution of funds, cards, or balances caused by, arising from, or attributable to any act or omission of a Banking Partner, including (without limitation) any freeze, hold, confiscation, chargeback, seizure, reversal, or closure described above. This limitation applies regardless of whether the Banking Partner's action is later determined to have been correct, justified, lawful, or in error.
Good-faith assistance. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Kripicard will use commercially reasonable efforts, at no additional charge, to assist the affected user in good faith, including by: (i) liaising with the relevant Banking Partner on the user's behalf; (ii) relaying documentation, clarifications, and source-of-funds evidence provided by the user; and (iii) following up until the matter is resolved by the Banking Partner. Such assistance is offered as a courtesy and does not constitute an admission of liability, a guarantee of recovery, or a promise of any particular outcome or timeframe. The user remains the legal counterparty of the Banking Partner with respect to the affected funds.
User cooperation and indemnity. You agree to cooperate promptly and in good faith with any information or documentation request made by Kripicard or a Banking Partner in connection with a freeze or investigation. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kripicard, Uweb3 Management BR, and their respective officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of funds frozen, withheld, or confiscated by a Banking Partner in connection with your account, transactions, or conduct.
Our track record. In February 2026, one of our Banking Partners imposed temporary account locks that affected a portion of customer balances. Although Kripicard was not legally obligated to do so under these Terms, the company voluntarily began refunding affected users and pursued formal fund-recovery cases on their behalf, ultimately concluding the large majority of those cases with funds returned. We disclose this precedent transparently: while the liability limitations above remain in force and Kripicard reserves the right to rely on them, our consistent practice is to act ethically and in our customers' best interest wherever we reasonably can.
Consumer rights. Nothing in this section is intended to limit, exclude, or waive any right, remedy, or protection that cannot be limited, excluded, or waived under the mandatory consumer or financial-services laws applicable to you. Where such mandatory protections apply, this section shall be read as limited to the maximum extent permitted by those laws.

Updates to These Terms
Kripicard may revise these Terms periodically to reflect operational or legal changes.
Any updates will be published on this page with the updated "Effective Date."
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Equal Employment Opportunity
The Company provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
