How It Works

How does Kripicard work?

Kripicard works in four steps: you deposit USDT on-chain, a regulated partner converts it to fiat, the issuing bank holds that balance, and you spend it through the Visa and Mastercard networks. You stay in control of your own wallet — you only move crypto when you choose to top up.

End-to-end flow

From USDT to checkout

Understanding the flow is the best way to evaluate any crypto card. Here is exactly how Kripicard moves value from your wallet to a merchant.

01
1

You deposit USDT

Send USDT to your unique deposit address on Solana, TRC-20, or ERC-20. The rest of your crypto stays in your own wallet.

02
2

A custodian converts it

A licensed crypto-to-fiat partner converts the USDT to fiat off Kripicard's books.

03
3

The bank holds the balance

Your fiat balance is held by the regulated issuing bank — not on Kripicard's balance sheet.

04
4

You spend via Visa

Tap or enter your card and the transaction flows through Visa and Mastercard rails to the merchant in real time.

Under the hood

The parts that make it work

On-chain top-up

You control when and how much USDT you send. Deposits are credited after on-chain confirmation.

Regulated issuance

Licensed banks issue the cards and hold fiat under their own regulatory frameworks.

PCI-DSS processing

Card numbers and CVVs are handled inside PCI-DSS Level 1 environments — never on Kripicard servers.

Visa settlement

Authorizations and settlement run over Visa, so acceptance matches any mainstream card.

What you control

You stay in the driver's seat

Kripicard is designed so the parts that matter most stay in your hands:

  • Your private keys and on-chain wallet — never shared with Kripicard
  • When and how much USDT to top up
  • Freezing or unfreezing your virtual card instantly
  • Adding the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay
  • Tracking every transaction in your dashboard
  • Spending only the balance you've funded — no credit, no debt
Common questions

How Kripicard works — FAQ

How long does a top-up take?+
Deposits are credited after the USDT transaction confirms on-chain, which is typically a few minutes depending on the network you choose.
Which networks can I use to deposit USDT?+
Kripicard supports USDT on Solana, TRON (TRC-20), and Ethereum (ERC-20). Choose the network with the lowest fees for your wallet.
Does Kripicard convert my crypto automatically?+
Yes. When you top up, a licensed partner converts your USDT to a spendable fiat balance held by the issuing bank.
Can I withdraw my balance back to crypto?+
Kripicard is designed for spending. Review the current terms in your dashboard for the latest options on balance management.
