Is Kripicard safe? Here's the honest answer.
Kripicard is a technology platform that issues USDT-funded Visa virtual cards through independent, regulated banking partners. We don't hold your crypto wallet, we don't lend your balances, and every card you use is backed by a licensed issuing bank. Here's exactly how it works.
Six pillars of Kripicard safety
Regulated banking partners
Card issuance, settlement, and fiat custody are performed by independent licensed banks and Visa/Mastercard-authorized processors — not by Kripicard itself. Your card is backed by regulated infrastructure.
KYC & AML compliance
All users complete identity verification through our processors. We screen against global sanctions lists and monitor transactions for AML/CFT compliance, in line with our banking partners' obligations.
PCI-DSS card processing
Card numbers, CVVs, and PAN data never touch Kripicard servers. All card credentials are handled inside PCI-DSS Level 1 certified environments operated by our processing partners.
Fraud monitoring & 2FA
Every account supports two-factor authentication. Suspicious logins, unusual transactions, and high-risk patterns are flagged automatically 24/7 by our fraud detection layer.
No custody of your wallet
Kripicard never takes custody of your on-chain wallet or private keys. You send USDT on-chain only when you top up — you stay in control of the rest of your crypto at all times.
Verified support channels
We publish an up-to-date list of verified Telegram contacts and team handles. If a message doesn't come from a contact on that list, it isn't from us.
What Kripicard will never do
A big part of staying safe is knowing exactly what a legitimate service won't do. Kripicard will never:
- Lend, rehypothecate, or invest user balances
- Custody your private keys or self-custody wallets
- Offer yield, staking, or "high-APY" products on your card balance
- Ask for your seed phrase, private key, or wallet signature
- Sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing
- Operate without KYC — all accounts are verified through regulated partners
Where your money actually lives
Understanding the fund flow is the single most important part of evaluating any crypto card. Here's ours:
- 1
You deposit USDT
You send USDT on-chain (Solana, TRC-20, or ERC-20) to your unique deposit address. Your other crypto stays in your own wallet.
- 2
A regulated custodian converts it
A licensed crypto-to-fiat partner converts your USDT to fiat. This happens off Kripicard's books.
- 3
The issuing bank holds the fiat balance
The resulting fiat balance is held with the issuing bank under its regulated framework — not on Kripicard's balance sheet.
- 4
You spend like any Visa
When you tap or enter your card, the transaction flows through Visa rails to the merchant. Kripicard never sees your full card number or CVV.
