Frequently asked questions
Do I need to connect my wallet?
No, and you should be wary of any balance tool that asks you to. Balances are public on-chain data, readable from any address without permission or signatures. This tool only reads, so there is nothing to approve and no risk to your funds.
Why do I not see my USDC or other tokens?
This shows native balances only — ETH on Ethereum, MATIC on Polygon, BNB on BNB Chain and so on. ERC-20 tokens like USDC live inside their own contracts and require a separate call per token, so they are not listed. Use the Token Decimal Checker to inspect a specific token contract.
What does the 7702 badge mean?
EIP-7702 lets an ordinary wallet temporarily delegate its behaviour to a smart-account contract, which gives it features like batched transactions and gas sponsorship. Such an address has code attached but is still a normal wallet you control with a private key, not a contract account. It is worth distinguishing because plain code detection would otherwise mislabel these wallets as contracts.
What does it mean if an ENS name does not resolve?
Usually one of three things: the name was never registered, its registration expired and it has entered the grace period or been released, or it is registered but has no address record set. The last case is common with names bought for resale, where the owner never configured a resolver.
Why is a chain missing from the results?
That chain's public RPC did not respond in time. Those chains are omitted from the table rather than shown as zero, because displaying an unreachable chain as a zero balance would wrongly suggest the wallet is empty there. The count below the table tells you how many responded.
